Yesterday my mom, Aviva Kalifowitz, told me something that was very inspirational... I hope all the lazy people out there who don't have a job read this.

My mom is currently working part-time as a substitue teacher around NYC (mainly in Jewish/Israeli schools). She just started doing this about 1 month ago. Since the day she had her first interview, she's been waking up at 7am, and gets dressed and ready to leave the house at 8am.

She does this because she want's to be ready if any of the schools she's registered with call her at the last minute to come in.

That made me really stop and think. If all the lazy people who collect welfare, etc... would get off their asses, and wake up every morning and get ready for work, even if they don't have a job yet, they'd be much better equiped to go to work once they land a job.

Just wanted to share that...

Is there a limit to how far Bush will manage to fuck our country up in 4 years? I read shit like this, and read the quotes of Bush's staff, and I can only believe that Bush actually has "destruction of the US" on his list of goals by the end of his first (and hopefully only) term as prez.

I really think that I'm going to start needing to spend significant amounts of time making sure that he's not re-elected. Right now his moronic ways haven't "directly" affected my life, but I think they soon will.
